mixed experience with some drawbacks
cramped room outside lockers
the rooftop bar offered drink specials and an acceptable place to pre-drink before going to beer street.
I found the room quite cramped with no space for my bag. The lockers were outside the room. this inconvenience was significant.

This hotel has a great location near many attractions. The rooftop bar provided good views (especially at sunset). The breakfast had many options including fruits and pancakes.
The rooftop music was quite loud, hindering conversation.

The rooftop bar was a major highlight. It made meeting fellow travelers easy. The free breakfast had various options in a buffet style. I booked the Ha Giang loop through Jasmine tours at the hostel and received a free t-shirt.
The room was rather dark, and it lacked a window, so ventilation was poor.

The hostel is situated very close to beer street and the night market. This puts it in a prime location for nightlife and exploring local vendors. It's very convenient. Many shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

unsecured window mold issue
the location was central providing easy access to nearby attractions
i booked a private room however it was not located within the main hostel building i had to access my room through a nail salon the room had mold and an unsecured window making my stay less than satisfactory

not really impressed, honestly
musty smell thin curtains
the room i booked, a 'bed 8-bed mixed dormitory room', wasnt great. it smelled kind of musty. the curtains on the bed was thin, so you can see right through it. there was not enough space to put my stuff, so it wasnt cool.
