The room was big with very nice canal views and it was quiet from busy river activities.
Unfortunately, the standards have declined recently. There was no dust bin in the bedroom and the hair dryer was broken. I also noticed stains on blankets, and there was no heat for two days.

acceptable locationbroken door lockfaulty check-in
the location was acceptable.
the online check-in system presented issues. it was completed before arrival. somehow the system did not log it. i did not receive the entering code on time. the room was old, rusty, and dirty. the door lock was broken.

the location was great, very close to a boat stop. i could easily reach st mark's square and the train station. the lobby had a beautiful hall with a grand canal view. the kitchen with a microwave was also very convenient.
the service was not good because no one was on-site. there was no toilet paper, so i had to find some at night. our room code initially did not work, but thankfully other guests helped us.
