charming stay
parking disc fell view
sophie offered a parking disc for street parking, a great help. the twin room had a good view of the fells, especially at sunset. we found a good selection of teas for a morning cuppa while looking at the mountains.
The room was quite basic. There was nowhere to hang clothes. the bathroom was also small with the toilet right next to the sink.

the host offered recommendations for local restaurants, very helpful. good internet access was available. i also noticed a fridge was present, it was useful for chilling drinks.

Sophie was a very cute and friendly host. She told me about some good local spots. she has a warm and friendly personality, and she knows all the good spots in town. i found her very accommodating. She allowed an early check-in.

Charming Stay with Fell Views

The double room with a balcony offered a lovely view of the fells, especially during sunset. A good selection of teas was available for the morning. I received a parking disc from Sophie. This was very useful, enabling on-road parking outside.
I noticed the shower had not been cleaned adequately before my arrival. This oversight affected my overall impression.

The location is central, close to the town's amenities, yet it still provides a quiet environment. The hotel overlooks a park, which offers nice views and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. This proximity made it easy to explore the surroundings.

central location warm greeting mountain view
the LOCATION was central to everything. sophie greeted me warmly when i arrived , she made an effort to chat. my room had a lovely view of the mountains.
the tv remote was a LITTLE tricky to use at first.

central location polite host cold room shabby floor
The location is very central! All attractions are easily reached. Sophie, the host, was very polite and told us everything we needed to know.
I found the room cold and uninviting. The painted wooden floor boards looked a bit shabby.
