clear communication comfortable accommodation historic bar
Paul, the new landlord, had great communication skills. He was accommodating for my late check-in. The bar area is rich in history and provides a great atmosphere. The accommodation offered me a clean, quiet, and comfortable space, also a great value.
The onroad parking was slightly inadequate during peak hours.

helpful staff fresh towels accessible outlets
i loved the amazing staff. they provided shampoo, soap, shower gel, and fresh towels. there was lots of storage and easily accessible power outlets. the room included a very nice tv.
the toilet did run water all night, a slightly annoying sound.

the staff proved kind and helpful during my time there. they handled check-in and check-out very smoothly. it felt very friendly and cute there.

the location allowed for a lovely beach-side walk. the pub had fun activities like a pub quiz. breakfast had exactly what i wanted including cornflakes, muesli, and fresh fruit juice so it was perfect.

A fantastic stay with character!
friendly staff easy access spacious room
The staff were friendly and provided a lift to the harbour, which i REALLY appreciated! The location is quiet and provides easy access to nearby attractions. My room was spacious, offering tv with access to netflix.

The breakfast was excellent and prepared by paul. It included fresh ingredients. The bar area has a great historical feel. I really enjoyed my time there. The food was AMAZING!!!

average stay with a few issues
faulty remote blackout curtains
the staff were very kind and helpful, acceptable.
the room lacked proper blackout curtains, so light streamed in early each morning. also, the tv remote did not function correctly. it required multiple attempts to change channels or adjust the volume. finally, the advertised pub quiz did not occur .

missing breakfast misleading advert
The landlord kindly gave me a lift to the harbour early in the morning. It was very helpful.
i booked expecting breakfast included, but it wasn't available. the advert indicated breakfast came with the stay, costing £210, but it wasn't true. this was disappointing (i was really looking forward to it).

friendly staff excellent breakfast
The staff was very friendly and helpful (Paul cooked an excellent breakfast). I was able to get another night at short notice after my ferry was canceled.
The onroad parking was adequate, BUT it was Sometimes challenging to find a spot right outside the hotel.
