Elaine at the front desk provided kind energy upon arrival. The room location allowed convenient WALKING distance to attractions. The hotel location is near a coffee shop that sells good lattes.
I found the outside noise slightly audible inside the room.

the location was fantastic. i loved the bottled water (always available) at all times. i could easily walk to many highlighted spots. the courtyard and pool were so charming.
sound insulation was not great. i could easily hear cleaners and next door rooms. taking a nap was difficult.

The staff seemed very friendly to me. elaine booked a taxi for my return to the airport. This process felt easy and convenient. the building looked historic and i enjoyed the courtyard.
My room felt small and the floor was not very clean. a lamp in my room did not work. I needed to ask someone to fix it. the bathroom sink had rotting wood surfaces at the bottom, i noticed.

the location was indeed very convenient. the building itself had a nice, old-world charm. i found the staff at the front desk to be friendly. the courtyard with the pool was a plus.
my room was situated on the ground floor, next to the street and i hear lots of noise during the night. the sound insulation wasn't great and i could hear every conversation outside. housekeeping service was a bit inconsistent .
