simple comfort near the heart of it all
nature walk comfortable retreat easy access great location
I easily accessed the nature walk to ness island and uile bheist. The brewery was a good surprise. the room included easy-to-use access codes i appreciated. inside, the space felt sparse yet provided a comfortable retreat after explorations. i found the location great for exploring the town center by foot. It made everything accessible.
The single pillowcase on the pillow felt a little thin. I just would have liked a bit more cushion for my head after a long day of walking.

thin walls loud neighbors
The room felt pretty bare. i needed more than just one towel. also, the noise from other guests was a problem. I could hear everything. it was hard to get a good night's sleep because of the thin walls and loud neighbors.

I found the hotel nicely decorated and situated on a quiet street. it was a short walk to both the train station and the town centre, very convenient. the access was super easy. They sent the access codes in advance, and it worked perfectly. i also liked the tartan carpet. It added a local touch.
the bathroom smelled strongly of mold, and i noticed some mold spots in the shower and on the windows.

the room felt really cramped with two people. it got dark quickly it also felt a bit musty i found only one towel per person i needed a kettle or hairdryer but there weren't any

Self-check was straightforward. It made arrival simple. hot water was plentiful. the train station was a short walk. This aided travel. a single night here worked well for me.
I did not have access to hot drink facilities. This was disappointing for a tea lover. there was no kettle. I missed having one.
