the location was convenient for getting around. i travelled by train, so the easy walk from the station was a plus. last year i stayed here and was impressed, this year the room had new lighting. the room had been repainted and a more modern tv was in there.
the internet was not great! it dropped out regularly. working was difficult. also, my double bed was two singles pushed together. i kept waking in the crack between them.

The location was excellent. It sat right next to the cathedral. The cathedral bells ringing in the evening were a sweet, unexpected touch. My room was spacious with a huge comfy bed and a sparkling clean en suite shower.
The decor felt very dated, . I noticed paint peeling off walls. There were stains on the carpet, which saddened me. The mismatched curtains were not ideal, and I spotted broken tiles in the en-suite.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Stay!

the location was SO convenient. i was only a five-minute walk from the train station. my room had a nice view overlooking the river, and i appreciated the full-length mirror for getting ready.
the internet connection was a little unstable at times.

the hotel is conveniently situated near the cathedral and gardens , and i found it very easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops , offering great access to local amenities. the bus station is also within a few minutes walk.

while this is a room-only hotel , its proximity to a multitude of restaurants and supermarkets meant i had plenty of options for meals , and i could easily find something to suit my tastes nearby.

my room included useful amenities , such as an iron and hairdryer , which was GREAT for my business trip. the provided bathroom toiletries were a welcome touch , and the walk-in shower was lovely to use.

staff members were so lovely and always greeted me with a smile, it was FANTASTIC. abbie quickly provided a fan when i requested one, showing AMAZING responsiveness to guest needs.
