central location coffee service fantastic shower
The location is central. Shops are SO close. The room included tea and coffee, and I REALLY appreciated that. The shower was FANTASTIC!!!

a stay with some drawbacks
convenient location easy walk new lighting poor internet double bed singles bed
the location was convenient for getting around. i travelled by train, so the easy walk from the station was a plus. last year i stayed here and was impressed, this year the room had new lighting. the room had been repainted and a more modern tv was in there.
the internet was not great! it dropped out regularly. working was difficult. also, my double bed was two singles pushed together. i kept waking in the crack between them.

excellent location en suite shower comfortable bed dated decor peeling paint broken tile
The location was excellent. It sat right next to the cathedral. The cathedral bells ringing in the evening were a sweet, unexpected touch. My room was spacious with a huge comfy bed and a sparkling clean en suite shower.
The decor felt very dated, . I noticed paint peeling off walls. There were stains on the carpet, which saddened me. The mismatched curtains were not ideal, and I spotted broken tiles in the en-suite.

Location was pretty decent, easy to get around to places.
The Single Room was rather... compact. One might describe it as small. I did expect a little more room for my belongings.
