perfect for coast to coast walkers

warm welcomeearly accessmassive radiatorsunlocked door
we received a warm welcome and early access to our room despite arriving early and soaked. instead of the booked double room, we got a very large family suite. it had two massive radiators where we could dry our gear.. i appreciated the packed lunch option. we traded our breakfast for it to allow an early start.
the room door didn't lock, but we felt secure enough not to mention it. i found the curry on the menu didn't really deliver, although the fish and chips looked amazing.
Dining
8/10
the evening meal provided a good variety. breakfast offered large portions, which i found quite satisfying before a long day of walking. the pub grub provided tasty and comforting options after a day outside.
