the host provided extra information over the phone and proved helpful. the room was super clean and bigger than expected. i felt safe as a solo traveler. the bathroom lighting was great for makeup application. plug sockets were available on both sides of the bed. a decent sized mini fridge was also in the room.
the towels felt rough against my skin. they resembled drying myself with a micro fibre cloth. all the windows were covered in bird droppings.

the location is near the quay and close to main attractions. self check-in was convenient, because my travel was delayed. everything needed is within walking distance of this hotel.

The shower was great. It was easy to use.
I was not happy that the towels reminded me of microfiber cloths. I hated drying myself with them! The windows were covered in bird droppings. It looked disgusting.

the shower was acceptable and functioned adequately.
I found the noise levels unacceptable. A nearby pub played loud music late into the night. windows needed to be open due to the lack of air conditioning, but the music became intrusive. there was also excessive bird mess on the windows, which detracted from the room's cleanliness.

Really good Quayside Stay

The shower was fabulous, and it was easy to use. A fan was provided. It helped a lot because the weather was very warm. I found the fridge in the room a nice bonus, inside a cupboard. The huge telly was great. I enjoyed watching YouTube on it.
The windows were covered in birds poo. It was not visually pleasant.
