the breakfast was freshly prepared each morning. i found the location to be quite convenient for visiting a nearby university. i appreciated the available hot drinks in my room. the tv had access to netflix.
i had difficulty locating parking upon arrival. i was informed it was 'off street parking', but i only found street parking. there was a very narrow and steep staircase. it made carrying my luggage up to the room challenging.

The location proved convenient! shops and pubs were just a short walk away. chrissie, the host, was really lovely. i found the breakfast delicious. It was served with care and attention! the warm house has period features that added to the experience.
I experienced a very slight inconvenience upon arrival. Finding parking required a little patience!

the hotel is near public transport and the high street. a variety of eateries and a waitrose supermarket are within walking distance. it is close to the botanic gardens and a short drive from the jewellery quarter.

The beautiful room included a large bed and an en-suite bathroom. there was also a welcome tray. It contained homemade cakes. fresh flowers on the mantelpiece provided a really lovely touch!

The owner is cute. She provided a relaxed atmosphere. chrissie was excellent and nothing was too much to ask. the stay felt very homely! it resembled a visit with friends or family.

chrissie is an really good hostess. she cooked a delicious breakfast freshly each morning. the room was decorated beautifully and was also very clean. it had everything we needed and even some lovely additional touches.
i stayed for several nights. finding parking was difficult at times. i had to drive around the streets for quite a while before i found a space.
